Ukraine Print Sale Fundraiser 2023
Ukraine Print Sale Fundraiser 2023
As we approach the second anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, my partner, Ukrainian photographer Oksana Parafeniuk, and I wanted to reflect on the last two years and do some good.
We’re holding a one week flash print sale until December 5, 2023, with 50% of net proceeds going directly to help Khrystyna, a single mother raising three daughters (Viktoriya, 14; Kseniya, 11; and Mariya, 9) in Kryvyi Rih after they were displaced from their home in Volnovakha by the Russian invasion last year. We were alerted to Khrystyna’s situation by our friend Olena Rozvadovska, founder of the Ukrainian charity organization Voices of Children.
With the war, an intense work schedule, and a new son, the past two years have been unimaginable. We’ve had little time to process it all, but doing so is important for our own mental health as well as our creative practice. Now, as attention has started drifting away from Ukraine, we’ve selected these fifteen pictures from the past two years that have stuck with us.
All prints are A4 size paper (the photo itself is 6” x 9”), open edition, signed, and made with archival quality pigment inks and paper right here in Kyiv by our friends at Diagonal Print. Frame not included. Customer is responsible for any necessary customs duties, taxes, or other fees related to international shipping.
