View an exhibit of 41 haunting images of the war in Ukraine photographed by seven Fulbright Scholars at the Mill City Museum in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Most of the photographs were taken in the past 12 months, but some date back as far as 2014, when Russia first invaded Ukraine and annexed its Crimean Peninsula.

With the beginning of Russia’s war against Ukraine, a cohort of Fulbright photographers, both Ukrainian and American, found themselves at the epicenter of momentous events, equipped with their ultimate weapon, their cameras. They managed to capture the tragic and heroic, devastating and hopeful moments of the present life in Ukraine.
