I am excited to be a featured speaker at the Iowa Newspaper Association’s 2020 Convention, where I’ll discuss my long-term work in Webster City, The Beating of the Heart. I’ve most recently expanded the project through a unique partnership with the city’s local newspaper, the Daily Freeman-Journal, which is Iowa’s smallest daily print newspaper, with funding from the Magnum Foundation, Economic Hardship Reporting Project, and Yunghi Grant.
